A little while ago I found these beautiful little lampwork beads in scrumptious shades of pink. I wanted to make a design with them but I had the feeling something was missing... Then I came across some gorgeous dark caramel vintage glass beads, and after finding a length of vintage copper chain made from gorgeous shiny stalks the lovestory was complete! At the moment I'm working on a special one-of-a-kind design, soon to be listed in my shop.

Casual Luxury

As an addition to my 'Vintage Flair' and 'Lampwork Classics' collection, I am working on a new collection Casual Luxury. Light and feminine pieces that will add an elegant note to any wardrobe. Elegantly casual for every day simplicity, yet luxurious enough for your most dashing attire. Earrings, bracelets and necklaces made from beautiful semi-precious stones, sterling silver and occasionally some gold fill. I'll be posting some sneak peeks in a few days! Can't keep secrets, here is one already...

Joined Etsy!

I found this wonderful new site: Etsy. Many people in the US have already known it for years, but in the Netherlands it has just been discovered. It a true Nirvana for people like me, it is full of handmade goodies! If your not an online shopaholique, you will be as soon as you browse Etsy. So I've decided to join the Etsy family and become an 'Etsian', I'm very excited, I think it will be a wonderful new way to bring my designs to the world! So very soon you can also get your Drops of Light goodies online from Etsy. New Pretties!

This week I have been shopping for some new beads.... I love shades of plum and amethyst for winter season, then again I always like the rich and lovely shades of plum and amethyst! Here are some of the designs in which I used my new goodies.



Winter Twigs Earrings; I color varation on my Summer Twigs Earrings. Tiny dots of gorgeous silvered crystal and amethyst, like little glistening snow flakes and winter blossoms on slender branchlets of curved silver.




SugarPlum Earrings; A color varation on my Night Sky earrings. Pretty vintage glass drops in a lovely plum purple hang from my gracefully curving 'Elfin de Lux' earwires.
